She grew up in Kharkiv. After the full-scale invasion her family moved to Kyiv, then lived for a year in Stuttgart, where she finished high school, and settled in Ottawa in 2023. She went on to Earl of March Secondary School in Kanata. Her first teaching job was as the cooking coach at a summer camp at Rideau Gymnastics in Kanata. After that summer she rented a room in the same building and registered Cookiddoo at 17, as its sole founder, paying for the start herself. Now 19, Anastasiia has run her own cooking classes for two years. Children aged 4 to 15 cook everything themselves, in groups of up to ten per instructor: master classes, birthday parties at home, workshops in schools and camps, and the Junior Chef Academy, an eight-week course launched in fall 2026 at her students' request. She trains at Le Cordon Bleu in pastry and French cuisine and has dreamed of her own restaurant since she was four.
