The Junior Chef Academy: a short drive up from Stittsville

The course meets on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. The fall 2026 group runs October 21 to December 16 (no class on November 11): eight classes, 16 hours, up to 10 children with a lead coach and an assistant. Over the eight weeks the kids move from knife safety and vegetables to eggs, fresh pasta, pastry, meat cooked to a safe temperature, yeast dough and choux pastry, and finish by planning and plating a full meal on their own.

With a drive this short, carpooling with another family in the group is easy to arrange. Tuition is $680 + HST, payable in two parts of $340 + HST. The open spots and the form are on the course page.

Cooking parties and private classes at home in Stittsville

For a birthday or a weekend with cousins, we bring a 2-hour hands-on class to your house: each child cooks their own dish and drink, and we handle setup and cleanup. Popular menus are pizza from the dough up, fresh pasta, mini burgers and fries, and cupcakes. Baking menus need an oven at home; without one, we pick a no-cook menu. Pricing is $485 for 8 children, $50 per extra child up to 11, with a $150 deposit.
