After-School Cooking in Kanata

After-School Cooking Program in Kanata, Ottawa

Cookiddoo runs a hands-on after-school cooking program in west Ottawa where kids learn real culinary skills in small, age-based groups. Here are the questions Kanata parents ask most.

What ages is the after-school cooking program for?

We welcome children ages 4 to 15, placed in small age-appropriate groups of up to 10 so every child gets real hands-on time at the stove.

Is the program drop-off?

Yes. Cookiddoo is a fully drop-off studio at 301-150 Katimavik Rd, Kanata – parents sign in their child and pick up after class.

How long is each after-school class?

Each class runs about 2 hours, giving kids enough time to prep, cook, and taste a complete dish from scratch.

What will my child actually learn?

Real culinary skills – knife safety, following a recipe, kitchen hygiene and teamwork – not just crafts. Kids cook genuine dishes they can recreate at home.

How much does the after-school program cost?

A full course is $389. Call +1 613 710 0554 for the current term schedule and availability.

Where is Cookiddoo located?

We are at 301-150 Katimavik Rd, Kanata, Ottawa K2L 2N2 – the only kids-only culinary studio in west Ottawa, with classes offered in English and French.
